I am Piroska, and I am a cancer survivor.
In 2023, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. What followed were months of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy — a journey that changed me, body and soul.
When the treatments finally ended, everyone around me said, “Now you can go back to normal. Now everything will be fine.”
But nobody talks about what comes after.
Nobody tells you that even two years later, your feet can still burn and go numb at night. Nobody tells you that you may lie awake for hours, or that your body can change in ways no one else can see. Nobody tells you that you can look perfectly healthy on the outside while still fighting every single day on the inside.
I made these cushions because I know exactly how that feels. I know how much it helps to have something soft to hold, something that protects your chest after surgery, something that makes the car ride home a little less painful. I know because I needed it too — and I could not find it.
So I made it. For me. And then for you.

I may not be the same person I was before cancer — and that is okay. Because the woman I am now knows what it means to suffer, to hope, and to help. And that woman is stronger than she ever was.
